CESIE starts the selection of 1 volunteer for an EVS project called Many faces of the bicycle (MFOTB),addressed to Italian youth aged from 18 to 30 years old.
When?
9 months from November 2015 to August 2016.
Where?
The hosting organization is the Multisport Experience Sport Club from Arad, Romania.
Which activities?
EVS volunteers will promote the use of bicycles both as a usual means of transport and as a tool for a specific sport; they will also illustrate the benefits of this activity, in terms of improving the psychophysical wellbeing of the users. MFOTB activities are balanced between indoors and outdoors plus will feature management and update of virtual community of bikers gathered around CSEM. The final goal of the project will be informing 1000 people from local neighborhood of Arad about benefits of cycling, involving 150 persons in cycling activity, 50 in running activities and 25 in swimming.
Costs?
The costs of food, accommodation and local transport will be fully covered by the host organization. Furthermore the volunteer will receive a monthly pocket money for personal expenses extra. Travel costs (go and back) are covered up to 275 Euros. Finally, the project provides a medical insurance.
