Third Eye of Mediterranean Association will host ten volunteers from ten different countries in the period between December 2011 to March 2012. It is a project that is part of the European Voluntary Service that is based on activities that will take place on Mersin coast in Turkey, where volunteers will clean the beach and will sensitize the local people on the preservation of the natural environment.

Every year on Mersin beach a lot of sea turtles (Caretta Caretta), leave the eggs on the sand. In the real life sea- turtles are in danger because of pollution and from the garbage of men.

In the Mediterranean sea, Caretta Caretta are threatened with extinction, plastic bags, cans, and other plastic items are a serious danger for the sea-turtles.

Such a fragile environment needs to be preserved.

The volunteer profile required is a person who is in love with nature and who is not afraid of carring outdoor activities for most of the time.
