Turkish cuisine is the similar version of Ottoman cuisine with some additional from Central Asia, Middle East, Balkan & Mediterranean cuisines. When it is looked at the whole frame, Turkish cuisine is full of varieties.
This is a special workshop about representing Turkish cuisine with its culture such as traditional folk dances. During the workshop , the participants will be able to learn to cook traditional Turkish cuisine from our professional chefs and teachers. The participants will wear their aprons and go down to the kitchen to prepare themselves for the cooking class. And they will also learn some basic folk dances of the Isparta regions after cooking. So eating and folk dances complete each other like healthy nourishment and sport.
The workshop will be held in Isparta Halk Eğitim Merkezi (Isparta is in the Aegean part of Turkey and Isparta Region is famous with cuisines and folk dances).
It will be held between the dates on 02-09 October 2011.
The expected number of participants are fifteen from EU countries and five from Turkey.
Travel, board (food), accommodation and insurance costs are covered by the organizer. The Workshop is free of charge for you!
The minimum requirement for applicants is the age 18 (adults) and they can not be professional.
