ARTICITY – Art for social change

CESIE is looking for 2 participants

Theme: Inclusion through art

When? 14th May-20th May 2012

Where? Toulouse (South-West of France)

Who?

24 participants from 13 countries and 18 NGOs will be involved in this project.

The participants will be young volunteers or youth workers, who would see arts as an additional motivation for getting more involved in the activities of their organizations focused on diversity and social inclusion.

What?

The project aims at promoting inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities through art. It also encourages diversity in society in order to develop a social cohesion and youth self-development.

As youth worker or youth organization, you will get the chance to improve the quality of your activities connected to young people with fewer opportunities.

You will also acquire more competencies necessary to stimulate and strengthen volunteering and the participation of the young people in your local communities and at international level.

Costs:

100% food and accommodation covered

70% of travel costs will be reimbursed

€40 participation fee

”MediaED Lab”

CESIE is looking for 2 participants!

WHERE?

Latvia, in Riga and Liepaja

WHEN?

07.05.2012 to 16.05.2012

WHAT?

MediaED LAB will connect 26 young professionals who are working to advance media literacy.

Participants will get the chance to learn and exchange tools and strategies that can be used to plan and implement media education activities for high school students.

WHO?

People in age from 20 to 35 who are working in non-formal or are interested in the thematic: MEDIA as a tool for education.

Good knowledges in English are required (written and spoken).

10 countries will be involved : Slovakia, Czech, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Slovenia and France.

COSTS:

€40 participation fee

And travel expenses will be reimbursed in amount of 70%

Food and accommodation are covered 100%

“Take the Challenge – train on intercultural learning and antidiscrimination”

CESIE is looking for 3 participants

Theme: intercultural learning and social inclusion

When? 20th March- 27th March 2012

Where? Kobuleti (Georgia)

Who? 20 participants from different countries.

The participants will be young volunteers, youth workers and young interested on the thematic, who want to share knowledge and experience on this issue. Trainers will facilitate the sharing through no formal education methods.

Age maximum: 30 years old.

What?

The project aims at promoting inclusion of young people and antidiscrimination attitude, through no-formal education methods. It also encourages diversity in society in order to develop a social cohesion and youth self-development.

As participant, you will get the chance to express your ideas, share your knowledge and acquire new ones.

You will also acquire more competencies necessary to work in intercultural context in your local communities and at international level.

Costs:

100% food and accommodation covered

70% of travel costs will be reimbursed

€40 participation fee
