Where ?

District of Plougerneau (FR); Youth Department, Plouguerneau is a village in Brittany, France, which has 8.000 inhabitans. The participants are going to stay in a new and clean accommodation, with a great outside area. The lodging is a big common dormitory with comfortable beds, basic and fitting into the castles atmosphere. The food is enjoyable and abundant.

When?

14th (arrival) – 22nd (departure) of april

Who?

4 youths + youth leader from Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Czech Republic.

What?

Generally, activities pertaining to on-formal education in order to deal with specified issues in a shared multicultural context, activities of environmental education, the evaluation of tradition, the realization of workshops as to analyze traditions, cultures and everyday lives. The participants will get in touch with the community of local fishermen, who are considered as true principal actors within this very part of France, and thus learn about the stories and legends of the sea. Intercultural evenings, traditional dinners and catamaran trips are going to be organized.

Costs?

The participation fee is 40 €

70% of travelling fees are reimbursed

100% covering of accommodation and meals
