Civil society organisations want to make a positive change in the lives of their beneficiaries, but often do not have the means to assess whether their action generates an improvement, especially in the long term. Would you like to discover new tools and methodologies for measuring the social impact of your organisation?
Join us at the Info Day on the SIM4CSOs manual for measuring social impact, which will be held on Friday 27 May, at Moltivolti (Via Giuseppe Mario Puglia 21, Palermo), from 4pm.
During the event we will present the Erasmus+ project SIM4CSOs and the resources developed, with a special focus on the methodological manual for social impact measurement. This handbook aims to provide key knowledge and skills to civil society representatives, thus helping them to strengthen the effectiveness of their work and measure its impact by promoting a common methodology, encouraging the creation of synergies and increased cooperation between different stakeholders.
The handbook provides an introduction to key concepts related to social impact measurement and then sets out guidelines for effectively planning your own measurement model. In addition, it includes a practical tool to apply what you have learned and thus facilitate the creation of your own evaluation framework.
The event will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, to discuss possible obstacles and difficulties, to rediscover good practices, starting from a reflection on the importance of measuring the social impact of civil society organisations and carrying out together some practical exercises offered in the manual.
Measuring social impact is becoming an increasingly important task, not only to enhance the level of transparency of one’s work but also to effectively redirect future responses.
