Are you a woman with a migratory background? Do you work socially or do you work for a public body? Or are you simply interested in the topic of socio-economic inclusion of women with a migratory background?

Join for free the webinar PITCH: an inclusion and empowerment model for migrant women in Palermo.

We look forward to seeing you on Zoom on Thursday July 25th, 2024 at 3pm

During the webinar, you will discover PITCH‘s objectives, the resources developed and the impact of the PITCH model at a local level.

Together with Monica Palazzo from Comune di Palermo, Sara Ferreira Da Silva from Centro Penc, Giovanni Barbieri and Giulia De Santis from CESIE ETS, we will discuss about socio-economic inclusion strategies – of women with a migratory background – that don’t take into account the needs and aspirations of these local actresses, since they lack a personalized approach that enhances the gender-sensitive perspective.

Thanks to the activities tested within the PITCH project, coordinated by CESIE ETS, it was possible to develop a local strategy, in collaboration with Comune di Palermo. The project is in fact strongly rooted in the reality of the Palermo area.

The outcome saw the creation of structured learning paths within the Women and Girls Safe Space of Centro Penc, and the construction of a multi-stakeholder, personalized, coherent and sensitive intervention model with respect to the gender perspective.

This webinar is the first moment of sharing and reflection about good practices and it’s part of a broader work of restitution and training, composed of a Local Panel, a Capacity Building path for practitioners and a Meet the Neighbors final event, to be held in the next months.

Now all we have to do is work together on the sustainability and growth of the PITCH model!

We count on your participation and that we can actively involve you in the adoption and dissemination of the PITCH strategy and methodologies.
