The multiplier event of the MEW – Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing project took place on July 21, 2021. Due to the restrictions in place to alleviate the Covid-19 pandemic, the meeting was held online and benefited from the participation of students and professors from the University of Gloucestershire interested in mental health-related topics and dynamics.
The event provided an opportunity to present the different products developed during the course of the project, as well as the possibility for the public and the organizations that have worked on its implementation to discuss and confront, eventually obtaining important information about the effectiveness of the tools and their accessibility.
The resources address five specific topics identified as fundamental to promoting psychological and emotional well-being in a comprehensive manner. These areas are: Communication; Problem Solving & Decision Making; People & Environment; Relaxation Techniques; and Confidence & Assertiveness.
The results of the MEW project, which can be easily and freely accessed at the designated interactive platform, are as follows:
- Training toolkit on mental health and psychological well-being;
- Video interviews with professionals and ordinary people who deal with mental health challenges on a daily basis;
- Set of European best practices to take inspiration from;
- Educational board game promoting mental health as a positive concept;
- Interactive platform that facilitates the assimilation of the different concepts analysed.
