CESIE starts the recruitment of 10 Italian youth aged from 18 to 30 years, and of 1 youth leader (older than 18) for a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
When?
The workcamp will last 15 days, from 1st to 14th December 2015.
Where?
The project will take place in France, in the Haute-Saintonge, in the municipality of Montendre, a town with 3300 habitants. It will be organised by La Maison des Bateleurs, an association of youth and popular education that is the regional delegation in Poitou-Charentes of the national french movement “Solidarités Jeunesses”. It aims to promote peace between people by organising voluntary work and intercultural encounters.
Which activities?
The activities organised with and by the volunteers are generally activities of manual work and activities of local development in partnership with local associations and people of all ages: house’s upkeep (carpentry, masonry, joinery), gardening etc. In the afternoon, volunteer are usually involved in artistic, musical, linguistic or social activities according to the proposals of the inhabitants of the “Maison des Bateleurs” and of its visitors.
Costs?
The costs of food, accommodation and local transport will be fully covered by the host organization. Furthermore the volunteer will receive a pocket money for personal expenses. Travel costs (go and back) are covered up to 275 Euros. Finally, the project provides a medical insurance.
