EVS MORE: it is time to discover the Balkans. Carpe Diem!Would you like to live an international experience in multicultural environments? Would you like to discover the Balkans? Would you like to gain new skills and increase your knowledge? So, don’t miss this opportunity!

We are looking for an Italian young person (aged from 18 to 30) for an EVS project hosted by the organization Carpe Diem, located in Doboj (Bosnia). The organization works with young people, aimed at improving their conditions and encouraging their active role in society. Several activities are carried on, such as language courses, dance and musical workshops. Due to a flood, the youth center, where these activities are implemented, was damaged.

Activities of the volunteer

The volunteer will support the renovation of this center, by also looking for private and public funds and any useful materials. Once opened, the volunteer will take part in educational activities of the youth center; moreover he/she will support hosting organization’s visibility activities.
The volunteer, supported by a tutor, will be involved in the activities for about 6/7 hours per day, from Monday to Friday; weekends will be free. Each month the volunteer will have 2 days off. A local language course will be provided, too.

When?

6 months, from May to October 2015

Costs

The costs of food, accommodation and VISA will be fully covered by the hosting organization. Moreover, the volunteer will receive a monthly pocket money for additional personal expenses. Travel costs (from/to Italy) are covered up to 275 euro. The project provides also an AXA insurance.
