DIGINEXT aimes at bridging the digital divide in rural areas, focusing on adults and seniors with limited digital skills. The primary goal is to promote active aging and improve the quality of life through the effective use of digital technologies.
Local Action Groups (LAGs) play a crucial role in this project, acting as intermediaries for the transfer of innovative digital skills from the adult education sector to local communities. Through targeted training programs, LAG officials will be equipped to support adults and seniors in acquiring essential digital skills, thus facilitating access to online services, communication, and active participation in society.
The project envisions the development of European guidelines to strengthen digital engagement in rural areas, offering valuable resources for policymakers and stakeholders. Additionally, specific digital tools will be created to address the challenges faced by rural communities, ensuring full inclusion in the digital economy.
We warmly invite LAG officials and all interested adults and seniors to actively participate in the activities of the DIGINEXT project. Your participation is essential to building more resilient and connected rural communities!
