As a continuation of the program “Think Globally, Act Glocally: Climate Youth Ambassadors for a Greener Future” we are calling for applicants to participate in an international training in Denmark titled: “Global Debates – Global Solutions: Creating a Greener Future Together”.
In June, 4 youth workers were trained and empowered to formulate and communicate their concerns about climate change with decision-makers, and advocate for their right to environment on an international, national and local level.
From 22nd October to 31th 2016, these youth workers will meet in Denmark for an international training with other participants from Lebanon, Italy, Jordan and Denmark.
This training will serve as a platform to promote intercultural exchange and dialogue among youth from Denmark, Italy, Lebanon and Jordan. A youth manifesto raising concerns and wishes of the participating youth regarding climate change will be a main output of the training.
Furthermore, courses on formal and non-formal techniques to strengthen participants’ advocacy and debating skills to advocate their right to a healthy, safe and sustainable environment will be given.
CESIE is looking for 8 participants with the following criteria:
- Have an educational background in social science or environmental studies
