CaBuReRa team is holding his Mid-term partnership meeting in Lebanon, between the 15th and the 17th of December: a moment for each partner to share their experience, discuss accomplishments and move towards next activities. Organized by the local partner in Lebanon,
PDA – Planning and Development Agency, this meeting, taking place at Elite Hotel in Beirut, aims to check the good performances of the project and overcoming any obstacles that may block its progress.
CaBuReRa – Capacity Building Relay Race is implemented under the ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme (www.enpicbcmed.eu). The project is coordinated by CESIE and partners with organizations coming from different Euro-Mediterranean countries: namely, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Portugal. Its total budget is 1.680.000,00 € and it is financed, for an amount of 1.512.00.00 €, by the European Union through the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument.

Youth Workers involvement
In the Euro-Mediterranean area, the high youth unemployment level is combined with an overall lack of chance for many young people to take part in a strong experience abroad that could open the doors to better job opportunities.
CaBuReRa is actually offering a comprehensive training opportunity in project cycle management and on issues related to Mediterranean cooperation to 30 youth workers coming from each partnersí country: by experiencing mobility as a nodal new way for young people to acquire new skills and competences, the trainees will develop profiles that best suit labour market demands. The process of personal and professional growth is mediated by the involvement of civil society organisations in order to broaden the inclusion of young people into social development.

The 2007-2013 ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme is a multilateral Cross-Border Cooperation initiative funded by the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). The Programme objective is to promote the sustainable and harmonious cooperation process at the Mediterranean Basin level by dealing with the common challenges and enhancing its endogenous potential.
