Are you a young woman dreaming of your own business? BEES offers you the tools to make it happen.
The BEES project was created precisely with the aim of providing young women with the tools to turn their entrepreneurial dreams into reality, making the rural areas of Sicily ‘pollinate’ with new initiatives.
What activities are foreseen?
- a structured training course
- concrete support in the development of the business idea
- creation of a community of women sharing experiences, visions and inspirations
The 4 steps of the path
Stage 1 – September/October 2025
Training course (40 hours) + experiential visits (20 hours)
- Modules on creating the business idea (even if you don’t have one defined yet!)
- Drawing up the business plan
- Business communication
- Insight into the entire entrepreneurial process
- Visits to enterprises founded or managed by women in rural contexts
Stage 2 – November 2025
Co-living week
- An educational retreat in a rural location
- Common areas to work on your own project
- Daily peer interaction (with other participants)
Stage 3 – December 2025/March 2026
Feedback and dissemination in the area
- Presentation of projects developed
- Sharing of opportunities to inspire other young women in local communities
Stage 4 – April or May 2026
International Bootcamp in Lithuania
5 participants, selected from 20, will participate in an international meeting with young women from Spain and Lithuania who participated in the same course.
Who can join
- Women between the ages of 18 and 29
- With domicile in a rural area of Sicily or with a business idea to be developed in a rural area of the island
- Available to participate in face-to-face meetings in Palermo (with reimbursement of expenses) and online
- With strong motivation to get involved
Costs covered
The BEES journey is fully free of charge for all participants.

Meeting dates and times will be scheduled according to participants’ needs.
