It is possible to better acquire “Knowledge” through the “know how” experience. This was the spirit lighting up the young participants who realized this video documentary, within the CLIMATE CHANGE project, co-funded by Youth in Action programme (Action 3.2). This video includes the highlights of the workshop about audiovisual languages and film making, held last year in Nairobi, Kenya, that saw the participation of young people from the 6 partner countries (Bulgaria, Italy, Kenya, Nepal, Poland and Tanzania)
The young participants promptly applied what they had learnt, interviewing a group of local workers. This was a good chance to test their own film making skills and knowledge acquired and to learn socio-economic reality, focusing, especially, on environmental problems.
In particular, this video tells about the experience of a group of young people within the slum of Kebira, that thanks to recycling, have created a small economic reality helping the young men and women of the slum.
