POLYGLOT: guide and e-courses under wayPOLYGLOT – Multilingual education in preschool age is a three-year project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships in the field of school education, aiming to promote language learning from an early age through the use of Open Educational Resources, new media and mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

The partnership of the project is now completing four more intellectual outputs of the project: the Guide and the E-course addressed to parents on how to use web-based OERs and apps for promoting bilingual education in the home-setting and the Guide and e-course addressed to educators on how to use web-based OERs for promoting bilingual education in kindergartens.

The objective of these e-courses and guides is that of supporting teachers and parents in using Open Educational Resources to ease their children’s language learning.

The above-mentioned outputs are based on the research work carried out in the first three reports produced within the project: State of the Art Report about bi- and multilingual education in kindergartens, State of the art report on web based OER for bilingual education and Guidelines on use of web-based OERs for bilingual education in kindergarten.

The first version of the guides and e-courses addressed to teachers and parents will be piloted next year with educators, parents and children, both in kindergarten and in their private setting. Later on, after collecting feedbacks, the outputs will be finalised based on the results of the piloting.
