StartUp2: Final meeting in Seinäjoki, Finland
Last week the project group for StartUp2 met in Seinäjoki, Finland. The final meeting 12-13.12. was hosted by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. During the final meeting the project group went through the final steps and looked back on the results of the project. In total the two-year project was a success in many ways and everybody hopes to continue the journey that was started in this consortium supporting entrepreneurship.
The Final Conference of the project was organised with the aim of sharing the experiences of the entrepreneurs who took part in the programme and spread information about the StartUp2 project and the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. The Finnish Host Entrepreneur, Annika Kartano, from Studio Empire emphasized the benefits of the programme for both the host and the new entrepreneur. The New Entrepreneur Alexandar Mihaylov told the audience how he got the confidence and courage to establish his own company during the exchange. James McDade from Seinäjoki Entrepreneurship Society explained the audience how students are an important target group for projects because there is a lot of new fresh business ideas and strong entrepreneurial intentions.
The project partners had prepared some success stories with their New and Host Entrepreneurs to share for the final conference. The audience got to enjoy success stories from Serbia, Portugal, Italy, Spain, UK, France and Finland. The videos will be shared soon on the social channels of the StartUp2 project.
During the social programme the project partners got to enjoy the city of Seinäjoki to the fullest and even got to enjoy some snowflakes during the visit. What a a great two days in Seinäjoki!
