LION – Learning, lIving, wOrking for NEET-group, is a Grundtvig Multilateral (LLP) project started in December 2012 with the collaboration of 7 different realities working in the field of education and training of NEETs (Not in Employment, Education or Training). These terms indicate people without who are not involved in education and training or a job. Through LION, they want to apply a holistic methodology, that is able to approach simultaneously the three basic areas of learning, life and work, with the aim of enhancing the quality of life of this target. To achieve this objective, the partners are working in different fields: from the creation of best practices to training for mentors and to the organization of mobility abroad for groups of NEET, and much more.
From the 6 to the 8 of June 2013, the project partners met in Budapest, where has been reviewed the work done, where they have definitively established the criteria for the selection and evaluation of good practices that will be published on the website. This website has been made and the final version will soon be made public.
Moreover, on our website the first good practices will be collected, that once tested will be available for all the people who want to share and improve them.
It also started the investigation phase about the relationship between the world of work and learning, and about how to create a bridge between these two worlds. After identifying various professional figures, we will continue with the administration of a questionnaire. The result of this research will be available from November 2013.
