On 29 June at 18:00h, in the pavilion Bibliothèques Sans Frontières of the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, the girls and boys who took part in the second cycle of the workshops of RAGAZZI HARRAGA will share with us their paths through videos, dances, music and storytelling during the closing event of the workshops.

The girls and the boys of the workshops on dance, rights & coexistence and of the intercultural workshops will share with the participants the learning path they have gone through as well as what they have discovered. This will be done with public messages, poetry, dances and presentations of the group works they have created.

During the evening, a multiethnic catering will be offered together with a live music performance of the Booku ndal group and of some of the workshops’ participants.

Programme

  • 18:00 Opening party: introduction to RAGAZZI HARRAGA and to the workshops of the project.  Introduction to Ideabox by Bibliothèques Sans Frontières,
  • 18:30: Listen: Story-telling session with the contribution of the girls and boys of Ragazzi Harraga
  • 19:00: Presentation of the group works of the participants of the workshop “Rights and cohexistence”, 4 messages written by the participants of the “intercultural” workshop will be shared with the public
  • 19:45: The girls and boys of the workshop on dance will perform individual and group dances
  • 20:15: Ethnic and Sicilian catering
  • 20:45: Showing of a video made by the girls and boys of the intercultural workshop
  • 21:15: Reading of poems written by the facilitator of Ragazzi Harraga_ Njifon Mouhamed Chamwil
  • 21:30: Certificate award ceremony and awarding of the skills portfolios to the participants of the 2nd cycle of workshops.
  • 22:00: Concert of Booku ndal and drums performance
  • 23:30: Closing
