USSM Palermo and the Juvenile Chamber ‘Orazio Campo’ participated in a meeting in Athens to combat trafficking and child exploitation, testing digital tools and promoting European and multi-sectoral cooperation.

At the 25th Conference ‘Alliance Against Trafficking in Persons’ in Vienna, ASIT participated bringing its contribution with innovative digital tools to fight trafficking, especially child trafficking.
The focus was on the prevention of online exploitation and the need for faster and more effective responses.
ASIT: Innovation and International Cooperation in Combating Human Trafficking
ASIT developed an innovative model for exchanging best practices among law enforcement agencies from Slovakia, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain and Poland. The growing role of digital tools in combating human trafficking – The Falkor Training for Law Enforcement Agencies
ASIT aims to strengthen law enforcement’s digital investigative capabilities to combat human trafficking in the digital age. Falkor Training, an intensive program on the use of advanced tools for data analysis and OSINT investigations, was held in January 2025. This course is part of a broader effort to improve international cooperation and develop effective strategies against cross-border criminal networks.
