On 21-24 January 2014 the kick-off meeting took place in Yerevan (Armenia) for the project PICASA – Promoting Internationalization of HEIs in Eastern Neighborhood Countries through Cultural and Structural Adaptations project will be implemented in joint partnership of 25 partners which includes 18 Universities, 4 Ministries of Education and 3 partners from Belgium, Italy, UK, Austria, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Belorussia.
The European partners will work hand in hand on development and enhancement of internationalization in 4 partner Universities with Eastern Neighborhood partners. The project foresees capacity building trainings for academic staff of Universities and staff of International Relations Office from each University, introduction of new elements of internationalization in curricula of each university, purchase of equipment and software, activities on the local levels, etc.
CESIE will provide support to the partners and conduct quality control and monitoring of the whole project, issuing annual report on quality assurance and monitoring, evaluating all project activities. First step will be development of the Quality Control and Monitoring Strategy.
