What is YouthPioneer?
YouthPioneer is a European initiative that promotes training, work, and entrepreneurial opportunities for young people from Sicily, Greece, Romania, Spain, Cyprus, and Bulgaria. Our approach combines training, mentoring, and on-the-job learning to give you the tools you need to successfully integrate into the job market and society. We work closely with key companies and institutions to offer you concrete and personalized growth paths.
What do we offer?
By joining the project, you’ll access a structured, step-by-step journey:
- Assessment & Matching: We’ll assess your interests and aspirations to match you with the most suitable company – Palermo
- Preliminary Training: You’ll develop key soft skills and learn how to design project ideas – approx. 50 hours between November and December 2025 – Palermo
- 3-Month Internship: Hands-on experience in your area of interest, supported by a company tutor and an external mentor – approx. 20 hours per week starting January 2026 – Palermo, Ribera and surrounding areas
- Entrepreneurship Workshops: Take part in three workshops on pitching and learn how to develop your own project idea – Spring 2026 – Palermo
- Career Orientation: Reflect on your newly acquired skills and plan your next steps in the labour market – Spring 2026 – Palermo
- Ideas Contest: Present your idea in a final contest and compete for prizes awarded to the best proposals – by July 2026 – Palermo
- Job & Innovation Forum: Attend an exclusive event to meet potential employers and explore professional opportunities – by July 2026 – Palermo
All essential costs to participate in the activities will be covered by the project, including local transportation to the venues.
