We are looking for 2 motivated youth workers/educators to involve in the international training course “NOT A STEP BACK” which will take place from 7th to the 13th of March 2020 in Spain. It will be a chance to meet up with other participants from 9 different countries with the will to learn not only from the course content, but from the experience as whole!

The aim of the “Not a Step Back” training course is to upskill 24 youth workers with the knowledge, skills and attitudes in the areas of Human Rights Education, Education for Democratic Citizenship and counternarrative of Hate speech to be able to implement projects and activities on these themes with the young people they work with.

At the end, participants will have raised awareness of the importance of creating a culture of human rights in work with youth, formal education and community education settings through sustainable and transferable HRE-based approaches.

A European certificate of participation will be released to all course participants!

Candidate ideal profile:

  • To be resident in Italy;
  • Youth workers/educators
  • To be 18 years old at least
  • To have basic knowledge of English.

  • Location: Girona, Spain
  • Host organisation: Asociación Mundus
  • When: 7th-13th March 2020
  • Accommodation and meals: fully covered by the Erasmus+ programme (please see info pack for more details)
  • Participation fee: 60 € (contact us if you can’t pay the participation fee)
  • Travel costs: Covered by the Erasmus+ programme UP TO A MAXIMUM of EUR 275
