A place where music can be a way to overcome cultural prejudice and stereotypes.
4 participants till 26 years old and 1 group leader – without age limit- will live and work in intercultural environment to understand and accept the cultural, national and European identity through music.
The participants will be challenged to produce common musical works, cooperating with local musicians, dancers and other participants from Bulgaria, Spain, Romania, Italy, Greece and Latvia to prepare public concert for the local community.
The aims of the project are:
- to increase the awareness towards the common values, existing cultural differences and similarities between partner countries;
- to improve the communication in multicultural environment and accept the cultural differences for maintaining an intercultural dialogue with no aggression, discrimination and radicalism.
The youth exchange will take place in Bulgaria from 1 to 9 of May 2017.
The budget for travel costs from Italy is 275 Euros per participant. Food and accommodation are covered 100% and 60 euro participation fee is requested (except for the group leader). Partecipants must bring their own instrument with them.
