CESIE starts the recruitment of 2 volunteers for an EVS project addressed to Italian youth (from 18 to 30 years old).
When?
2 months from April to May 2016.
Where and which activities?
The hosting organization is Associação Juvenil Espírito de Mudança. AJEM is an youth association created by youngsters living in Amadora, a city in the suburbs of Lisbon, with the aim of changing the world.
They have been working in 3 fields:
- Improving the community
- Dancing
- Youth Mobility
They pretend to fight against social exclusion, therefore they have been working with dance, sports, music in order to integrate more youngsters with fewer opportunities.
The activities of the EVS volunteers will be:
- Integration of children with fewer opportunities through music, dance and sports,
- Organization of a Sports Tournament,
- Helping the Municipality in their social projects (ex. Collecting food, clothes, books),
- Organize a cultural events.
Costs?
The costs of food, accommodation and local transport will be fully covered by the host organization. Furthermore the volunteer will receive a monthly pocket money for personal expenses extra. Travel costs (go and back) are covered up to 275 Euros. Finally, the project provides a medical insurance.
