Equity and inclusion in sport – in collaboration with the Italian Referees Association (Palermo section)
An afternoon of workshops to recognise and challenge gender-based violence and stereotypes in sport.
Sport is a space for growth, encounter, and participation – yet often, it still reflects the gender inequalities and stereotypes present in society.
In this afternoon of workshops, organised in collaboration with the Italian Referees Association – Palermo Section, we will explore how to make sport a fairer and more inclusive environment, free from discrimination and open to everyone.
The event is organised within the framework of the European project Sport GVP – Gender-Based Violence Prevention in and through Sport, which aims to prevent and address gender-based violence both in and through sport, by promoting awareness, education, and responsibility among professionals and sports communities.

The event is part of the DialoghiAMO Festival – Encounters of voices, bodies, and individualities, which opens its doors to all identities, professions, and interests, promoting the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and inclusion as concrete tools to counter all forms of violence and discrimination.
