On the 14-15 of April 2016 the 3rd Partnership meeting of the “JOB-YES! Choose a job not a dole” project took place in Liverpool, UK. The project, which is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (Key Action2: Strategic Partnerships in adult education) of the European Commission, is implemented by a consortium of seven partner organizations from Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Italy and the UK.
The final results of the project will propose innovative solutions to foster integration of people with disadvantaged background and fewer opportunities into the labour market through online self-need analysis, online learning based on open education resources, preparation of knowledge portfolio and employment action plan. To finalise the development phase of the mentioned tools the programme of the meeting covered such aspects as:
- Development of Self-need analysis in national partner languages,
- Progress of the Development of Open Educational Resources,
- Development of Knowledge Portfolio, Action Plan for Learners, User guide for learners;
- Piloting / Testing the Innovative model for integration into labour market;
- Development of the e-Guidebook for Adult Educators organisations;
- Dissemination of project results and preparation for the multiplying events and final Conference.
The next Partnership meeting and Final Conference of the project will be organised in December 2016 in Kaunas, Lithuania. For that meeting, all partners will involve one representative of the Local Labour Exchange Offices. They will be introduced to the content of the project and to the tools developed within its frame, as a way to use them in a daily work with people with fewer opportunities.
