How to support managers in acquiring new skills in management, organization and strategic planning of events?
On 6th February, the first meeting between the DiMenSion project partners took place in Skopje (Macedonia).
The project aims to promote the development of the skills of managers who deal with marketing and event management and support them in the management and creation of sustainable enterprises.
The consortium can rely on a great experience in the field of adult education and in the development of new learning methodologies for managers. Each of the partners with his personal experience will make an important contribution to the realization of the project.
During the meeting the partners analysed the themes of the project, the tasks and the roles that everyone will have to play.
In order to achieve the objectives, partners will
- analyse the needs and challenges that marketers and event managers face in Europe;
- develop a training curriculum and an online learning platform;
- create online courses, webinars and train the trainers events;
- implement professional program for marketing and event management through a pilot group of marketers and event managers;
- publish a manual and a dictionary to support the development and professional growth of managers.
The next steps of the project will be to organize a training event for the partners to prepare for future activities with the target group. Thanks to the DiMenSion project, better opportunities for growth and professional learning will be offered to all the actors involved.
DiMenSion – Developing marketing solutions for sustainable brands. is funded by the Erasmus+ programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education. The project will end in August 2019 and the website will be available very soon.
