Mobility opportunities can have real impact over people only if they exactly know how to capitalize and promote their experience after their return.

Key competences acquired in international mobility experiences are very important in our society and they insure more flexibility and autonomy in the labour system. It also allows the participant to adapt very fast to constant changes in our now interconnected world.

Last 8th June, the PC IMPRESS final local event took place in Palermo at PYC – Palermo Youth Centre. During the event, we presented some types of mobility projects funded by EU and tools developed by the project useful for both participants and youth workers managing such projects in order to better evaluate and capitalize such mobility experiences.

PC IMPRESS born by the gap of concrete and really good ways and tools for people realizing mobility experiences to promote their personal and professional benefits after their return. These people carrying out such non formal education experience absolutely need to be supported after their return to facilitate their social and professional integration in their original environment.

Even if some of the beneficiaries of such non formal education projects are more autonomous, it seems very important to accompany them all deeply after their return from abroad to facilitate their social and professional integration. They can also insure a good quality in innovation, productivity and competitiveness, and contribute to the motivation and satisfaction of workers.

So, PC IMPRESS created new innovative tools to support people after their return from international mobility experience to capitalize perfectly their experience – professional and personal skills, knowledge, other benefit – and to promote all of this on the good way to facilitate their social and professional integration.

These tools – including a practical guide on their usage – are available in the PC IMPRESS online platform; moreover here you can find other useful tips and tools such a definition of the 8 key competences, a skills lexicon, a mobility experiences testimonials etc.

Even if the project has ended, now it is time to use and spread these tools, practical result of this Erasmus + project.

PC IMPRESS is co-founded by Erasmus+ Programme Erasmus+ Key Activity 2 Strategic Partnership for adult education – with the main aim to create innovative and concrete tools for participants of international mobility project and non-formal education workers.
