CESIE starts the recruitment of 1 volunteer for an EVS project addressed to Italian youth (from 18 to 30 years old).

Where and which activities?
GEB (Gesellschaft für Europabildung) is a non-profit organisation that is functioning as an educational-training centre. Their main purpose is education and vocational education, including civic education. Their activity is mainly directed to young people, adults and less privileged people. They are deep believers of the benefits mobility projects represent for the personal development of the European citizen.
The volunteering placement will be at GEB and the volunteer has to assist the incoming team with administrative work e.g. filling in tables, preparing the welcome packs, rental contracts, learning agreements, etc. He/she is responsible for the social and cultural activities offered to the incoming groups. The volunteer has to plan a programme according to the requests of the sending organisation and the available budget. He/she has to book the events and accompany the group. The volunteer also has to help the incoming team with logistic tasks like receiving groups of students at the airport/ bus or train station; buy travel cards; pick up contracts at the work placements, going to the post office, etc
The volunteer should love to spend time with other people, since he/she is responsible for the social and cultural programmes they organise for trainees. Being open-minded, flexible, helpful and fluent in English are important characteristics. Apart from that the volunteer shall be responsible, organised and like administrative work as it includes around 50% of administrative work. The activities will be:

Costs?
The costs of food, accommodation and local transport will be fully covered by the host organisation. Furthermore the volunteer will receive a monthly pocket money for extra personal expenses. Travel costs (go and back) are covered up to 275 Euros. Finally, the project provides a medical insurance.
