What role does comprehensive sexuality education play in preventing online violence and sexual abuse? We will address this and other related questions during the event Digital Safety and Online Consent, organised within the bE-Aware project at FEMBOCS in Bagheria.
In collaboration with the transfeminist and intersectional collective FEMBOCS of Bagheria, this session of the DialoghiAMO Festival – Encounters of voices, bodies, and individualities tackles an urgent and complex issue: how to prevent online sexual violence and abuse against minors, and how to promote consent and respect in the digital sphere.
The event is part of the European project bE-Aware, which promotes the prevention of online sexual exploitation and digital awareness among young people, adults, and education professionals.
Through moments of exchange, dialogue, and creativity, the event will offer a space to analyse risks, strengthen digital skills, and promote a culture of consent and respect online.
Free entry with ARCI membership card.
If you don’t have one, you can request it.
The event is part of the DialoghiAMO Festival – Encounters of voices, bodies, and individualities, which opens its doors to all identities, professions, and interests, promoting the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and inclusion as concrete tools to counter all forms of violence and discrimination.
bE-aware is funded by Erasmus+ programme, KA220-YOU – Cooperation partnerships in youth, and aims at understanding, preventing, detecting and addressing Online Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OSEA) through a holistic, multi-faceted and multisectoral approach.
