Online sexism isn’t just about explicit insults or hate speech.
It often appears through seemingly “harmless” acts: jokes, comments, images or interactions that reinforce stereotypes and normalize gender-based violence. But where is the line between inappropriate behaviour and digital violence? And what are the warning signs – the red flags – we should all learn to recognize?
To explore these questions, join the free webinar “Red Flags & Boundaries: Understanding Online Sexism – from Everyday Violence to Criminal Acts”, organised within the European project CHASE – Combatting online Hate Speech by engaging online mEdia, and led by expert Debora Barletta.
Wednesday, 30 October 2025 | 4:00 PM (CET)
After the webinar you can receive a certificate of attendance upon request.

Debora Barletta is an international youth worker, trainer, and facilitator passionate about empowerment and non-formal learning.
An expert in human rights education, combating hate speech, and youth participation, she is Co-Coordinator of the Italian National Network against Hate Speech and Phenomena, National Coordinator of the No Hate Speech Movement Italy, and Vice-President of APICE.
