Are you interested in youth participatory democracy and wish to improve your knowledge about it? Would you like to learn more about how young people may not just participate but also actively shape decision-making affecting their communities?
Join the next free ADD webinar and explore innovative methodologies that focus on the new generation’s voice.
Set up under the ADD–Something Meaningful project, this exclusive webinar is all about youth participatory democracy.
We won’t just discuss theory: we’ll dive into the Ideathon method, which is a dynamic and collaborative tool that’s proving to be super effective at bridging the gap between youth and local institutions.
Ideathon is not just a methodology but a real facilitator of ideas and solutions. Imagine a well-structured process in which young people’s creative energies are pooled to deal with real challenges, creating innovative proposals that may be adopted and acted upon by local authorities.
It is an approach that turns youth from simple ‘users’ into ‘co-creators’ of policies and projects that enhance their community’s life.
We look forward to seeing you on Zoom
on Friday 26 September 2025 at 4.30 PM
During the webinar, you will get to hear testimonials from local authorities that have already practiced the Ideathon approach.
Representatives from the municipalities of Caravaggio, Casteldaccia and Contessa Entellina will share their experiences, illustrating how – through Ideathon and the creative use of public and art venues – they succeeded to foster social interaction, promote sport and enhance the ownership awareness among young people.
ADD – Something meaningful a project funded by DG EAC, Erasmus+: Key Action 2, Strategic Partnership in the field of VET.
