How can we sustain social inclusion of migrant women and their access to the labour market?
How can we value their knowledges and foster the development of new entrepreneurship initiatives?
Thanks to ARISE we are organizing a training course for migrant women or refugees who wants to create a new enterprise.
The project aims to promote the entrepreneurship skills of the migrant women through the acquisition of competences useful in the creation of income generating activities, related to food and other productive sectors.
The training course will be held in Palermo from January to May 2018 and in particular it provides:
- 60 hours of lessons – 15 workshop of 4 hour each;
- 12 hours for local visit of innovative enterprises and meetings with local entrepreneurs;
- 8 hours of business plan improvement lessons;
- Networking opportunities with investors, entrepreneurs and technical consultant.
At the end of the training course, we will organize events in order to promote the business plans. Also, the 3 best ideas will be selected and they will participate – together with other potential entrepreneurs of the ARISE project from Austria, France, Germany, Greece and Sweden – to the international conference held in Hannover (Germany) in November 2018.
We invite the interested migrant women to register for the training course until the 20th of December.
The participation to all the activities is free, but the seats are limited.
To forward your application, it is needed to fill by the 20th of December 2017 the following document in Italian:
- Application for the training course (attached);
- Copy of an ID;
- Brief description of the business idea (max 1 page).

- Preparing the application and deliver it personally at CESIE office (Via Roma, 94 – Palermo);
- Sending the application to the following email address: migration@cesie.org;
- Fill the application through the following google module.

In case the number of requests exceed the maximum set for the training course (15), a commission will examine the applications and summon the most interesting for an evaluation and selection interview.
We invite you to participate to the info day on the training course the 13th of December at CESIE starting from 10:00 am.
