A S.A.F.E. Space – Public exhibition & community dinner
How can we create really safe and inclusive spaces in which to explore our private and emotional life?
A S.A.F.E Space is an exhibition built on the idea that sexuality, affection, and relationships should be explored in safe, inclusive environments, free from stigma, stereotypes, and taboos. It represents the final event of S.A.F.E. – Sexuality, Affection and Facilitation in Education, an international training course that brought together youth workers from different European countries to strengthen their competences in Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE).
Through non-formal education methods, collective storytelling, guided reflection, and participatory activities, participants explored topics such as culture and sexuality, sexual health, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationships, and the prevention of gender-based violence.
The exhibition showcases reflections, creative outputs, and learning outcomes developed throughout the training, offering participants the opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives with the wider community.

Why participate in
The exhibition will serve as a meeting place for diverse voices, narratives, and interpretations, celebrating plurality while encouraging open dialogue on issues that are fundamental to individual and collective well-being. Participants will present their work and engage in conversations with visitors, creating a space for exchange, learning, and mutual understanding.
The evening will continue with a community dinner, bringing together participants, trainers, experts, local stakeholders, and guests in an informal setting that encourages intercultural exchange and meaningful connections.
On this occasion, CESIE will also involve its Youth Advisory Board (YAB), offering young participants the opportunity to learn more about the project, connect with the SexSense network, and explore available resources related to sexuality and relationship education.
About S.A.F.E.
S.A.F.E. – Sexuality, Affection and Facilitation in Education is a European initiative that promotes the training for youth workers and professionals in youth education by strengthening their competencies in Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), in order to promote well-being, healthy relationships, gender equality, and the prevention of gender-based violence in educational and community settings.
