How much awareness is there really in our relationships? And how much do stereotypes affect freedom of expression?
As part of ERROR Fest Palermo, we welcome you for an interactive session dedicated to themes of affective and sexual education, diversity, stereotypes and inclusion, led by the Palermo Youth Advisory Board (YAB) of the european project BOTTOM-UP TALKS.
Friday 12 December, 2025 | 17:00–18:00
Sala Rete Invitalia, Cinema De Seta – Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa
Free event in collaboration with ERROR Fest Palermo
Facilitators Marina Castañares and Sefora Giaimo, together with the young members of the YAB Palermo group, will guide you through a path made of images, words, and shared discussion.
First, let’s get to know each other! We will introduce CESIE ETS, the work of the Youth Advisory Board and the core topic of the workshop: affective and sexual education, inclusion, diversity, and the impact of stereotypes on our relationships.
This will be followed by an immersive moment of participatory visual analysis: we will propose a series of symbolic images related to relationships, consent and social inclusion. We will ask you to observe, interpret, and match the images, allowing themselves to be guided by spontaneous associations and by what the images evoke. Starting from these impressions, we will introduce brief reflections on the key concepts explored during our training sessions, and then collect positive words to create a collective final statement representing what you have developed together with the group of participants.
This workshop is an invitation to listen to young voices and to help build a more attentive, fair, and stereotype-free society.
BOTTOM-UP TALKS – Preventing teen-dating and school-related gender-based violence and promoting psychological well-being from the bottom-up is funded by CERV-2024-DAPHNE programme.
