How can schools become increasingly safe, inclusive and respectful of diversity? What tools can support teachers, school leaders, families and education professionals in promoting the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people in school settings?
As part of Rainbow Schools – – a European initiative that promotes a holistic approach to education for LGBTQIA+ pupils, with the aim of creating safe and inclusive learning environments – Rainbow Lab is a space for discussion and participation dedicated to building more inclusive educational communities.

During the meeting, we will involve you in discussions and feedback sessions on practical and theoretical resources dedicated to inclusive education and the prevention of bullying, discrimination and exclusion against LGBTQIA+ people.
The aim is to gather experiences, perspectives and practical suggestions to make these resources increasingly relevant, accessible and usable in different school contexts.
Who is it for?
This workshop targets different stakeholders within the educational community, including:
- teachers and school staff
- school heads
- pupils
- families, carers
- educators
- psychologists, educationalists and social-educational professionals
- social workers
- volunteers from local associations and organisations
- professionals in public and social services.
Why participate
Rainbow Lab will be an opportunity to discuss, test and refine tools and materials designed to support schools in promoting safer, more inclusive learning environments that respect diversity.
The active participation of those involved will enable us to gather practical feedback on what works, areas for improvement and the adjustments needed to make the resources more useful in different educational contexts.
