Voluntary guardianship and territory: cinema and music to reflect on collective choices of care
What does it mean for a community to care for an unaccompanied foreign minor when we speak about voluntary guardianship? And how can cinema and music help us understand this commitment?
In the spirit of GUIDE – a European initiative aimed at ensuring the proper management of protection and support for unaccompanied minors – we invite you to join us for a moment of shared reflection and discussion, focusing on the pathways of shared responsibility and care that run through communities and local areas.
An occasion to reflect on what it means to create spaces of collective care within a network of supportive communities that accompanies people and looks toward the future.

Why participate
The screening of the documentary Tumaranké – produced by Dugong Production, in collaboration with AccoglieRete – offers an opportunity to engage with a narrative centered on lived experiences, relationships, and journeys toward supported autonomy, restoring complexity and humanity to guardianship pathways and to the bonds built between people and territories.
Following the screening, the music of the Libera Orchestra Popolare of Marsala will accompany the transition from storytelling to a collective dimension, transforming listening into participation and reflection into a shared experience.
How to join in
Admission is free from 6.00 pm. For more information: justice@cesie.org.
