School education in Europe is at a crucial moment of transformation

Facing the global challenges of our time, such as the climate crisis, the necessity for greater social inclusion, and technological evolution, the education system is called upon to radically rethink its objectives and methodologies. This is not merely about updating curricula, but about co-designing a school that serves as a true engine for socio-cultural transformation, capable of educating conscious, critical, and active citizens.

It is within this context of urgency and opportunity that EU School 2025: Future scenarios for tomorrow’s schools, is situated. This initiative represents an important moment for discussion and co-design regarding the present and future of school education in the national and European landscape.

If you are part of the educational community, we invite you to participate in the 2025 edition of EU School free of charge.

What’s New for the 2025 Edition

This year, EU School places the emphasis on themes crucial for the society and school of tomorrow: environmental sustainability, valuing cultural diversity, and building genuinely inclusive communities. The objective is twofold: to share validated resources and to create new, valuable connections among all the figures who work daily towards a fairer, more mindful, and more inclusive school.

Keynote Speech of Cecilia Bartoli and theatrical show with Anton Giulio Pandolfo

Cecilia Bartoli, a psychotherapist and founder of the APS Asinitas organisation, will be speaking at EU School 2025. She is also a trainer in intercultural education and active education methods, working with all educators involved in the field of migration.

The event will close with a moment of reflection and poetry, thanks to the theatrical performance The Man Who Planted Trees, based on the short story by Jean Giono. It will feature the voice of Anton Giulio Pandolfo as narrator, original music by Maurizio Curcio, and illustrations and animations by Marianna Giuliana.
