The GEA project, Green Entrepreneurs in Action, aims to provide entrepreneurial tools to young people who have the desire to start a sustainable business.

The training course on ‘green’ entrepreneurship held in Palermo last December, was an enriching opportunity for participants and trainers. It enabled the exchange of experiences by youth workers, professionals and entrepreneurs from various European countries and belonging to different ethnic groups, including the Roma, who present the greatest obstacles within societies.

The 3-day training was intense and stimulating and the participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of sustainable entrepreneurship through 5 modules:

  • Module 1: Business Model – Sustainable Enterprise and Digital Transformation.
  • Module 2: Funding Opportunities.
  • Module 3: Content Marketing & Storytelling.
  • Module 4: Launching an Entrepreneurial Proposal.
  • Module 5: European and International Opportunities for Sustainable Entrepreneurship

An online platform with the modules is already available, for now only in English but soon to be available in Italian. Through the GEA course, it will be possible to acquire the basics of entrepreneurship and encourage young people from the most disadvantaged backgrounds to think up their own business model.

But that’s not all! The young people who develop the best business plan will have the opportunity to participate in a special event to be held in Bucharest.
