{"id":98900,"date":"2021-08-01T12:04:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-01T10:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?post_type=project&#038;p=98900"},"modified":"2025-05-12T15:12:25","modified_gmt":"2025-05-12T13:12:25","slug":"capperi","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/capperi\/","title":{"rendered":"CAP-PERI \u2013 Common Agricultural Policy, Peer Educational Resources in Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>To improve the awareness of citizens and young people on the social, economic and environmental implications of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) at national and European level.<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Context<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eurobarometer surveys revealed that Italians have, on average, little knowledge about the existence of a European agreement guiding EU agriculture, and little awareness of the impact of the agricultural sector on climate change, conservation of biodiversity, regeneration of rural areas and creation of new jobs. They also highlight a communication gap between farmers and consumers. CAPPERI is a project that was created to help spread among citizens, and in particular among young people, the knowledge of the economic and environmental implications of the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) at national and European level, in relation to the achievement of the objectives of the Green Deal (ecological transition, food sustainability, fight against climate change, landscape and biodiversity protection, regeneration of rural areas, reconnection between city and countryside).
