{"id":62426,"date":"2016-10-03T13:02:05","date_gmt":"2016-10-03T11:02:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?post_type=project&#038;p=62426"},"modified":"2024-03-12T10:07:45","modified_gmt":"2024-03-12T09:07:45","slug":"welcome","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/welcome\/","title":{"rendered":"WELCOME \u2013 Welcome to Universities and Higher education"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-objectives\">Objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To improve and extend the offer of high quality learning opportunities so to make it easier for refugees to access higher education<\/li><li>To achieve transparency and recognition of skills and qualifications to facilitate learning, employability and labour mobility<\/li><li>To focus on adult education institutions, which undertake important work in terms of determining<br \/>competences, qualifications and providing guidance before people start studying, as well as on Higher<br \/>Education Institutions and universities of applied sciences, which can cooperate with adult education<br \/>institutions to shape access and transition to tertiary education.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-activities\">Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Intensive programmes for teaching staff through study laboratories \u2013 study visits to share and learn from<br \/>good practice projects, combined with discussions of actions and methodologies at partner organisations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>VNB: competence checks, qualification, guidance in AMIF, the Open University of Lower Saxony<br \/>and Kiron University<\/li><li>uniT: creative and artistic work in the study spaces (guidance, competence portfolios), Austrian<br \/>universities\u2019 project for refugees and asylum seekers (More) and the work at FH Joanneum University<br \/>of Applied Sciences<\/li><li>CESIE: Creative and artistic approach to own work in mentoring, competence checks,<br \/>qualifications and guidance. Cooperation projects with the University of Palermo<\/li><li>CARDET: Expertise in e-learning; cooperation projects with the University of Nicosia<\/li><li>VIFIN: Expertise in designing online language courses. Vifin also cooperates with Vejle<br \/>Municipality, Danish Universities and companies for a SMART U (smart-u.dk), where it is possible<br \/>for municipal employees and residents to take an online university degree or training course.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-results\">Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>WELCOME Study Laboratories. The visits are integrated into the work of the consortium partners and<br \/>distributed to important stakeholders on a political and administrative level<\/li><li>WELCOME Learning materials<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-partners\">Partners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Coordinator: uniT \u2013 Verein f\u00fcr Kultur an der Karl-Franzens-Universit\u00e4t Graz (Austria)<\/li><li>VIFIN \u2013 Videnscenter for Integration (Denmark)<\/li><li>VNB \u2013 Verein Nieders\u00e4chsischer Bildungsinitiativen e.V.
