{"id":62365,"date":"2014-03-24T11:32:17","date_gmt":"2014-03-24T09:32:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?post_type=project&#038;p=62365"},"modified":"2025-05-08T11:36:34","modified_gmt":"2025-05-08T09:36:34","slug":"platform-for-voice-2","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/platform-for-voice-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Platform for Voice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-objectives\">Objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To identify key messages that can amplify the voice of minority and migrant communities in Italy<\/li><li>To draw out the commonalities facing minorities in four countries specifically to make a powerful counter-narrative against the rush by politicians for \u201ceasy votes\u201d by scapegoating those who are least powerful<\/li><li>To provide the platform for voice amongst those marginalized from the centre of power by identifying and communicating key messages to combat racist and xenophobic speech by those seeking (re)election in the European election on 25<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0May 2014<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Discussions and forums in Greece, UK, Italy and the Netherlands with organisations representing migrants and minorities to identify common issues that they face<\/li><li>Development of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/in-action-4\/european-cooperation-4\/eunify-forum-antirazzista-palermo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">5-10 key messages based on the discussions in each country<\/a>.
