{"id":55996,"date":"2018-12-31T13:11:44","date_gmt":"2018-12-31T12:11:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/project\/disc-digital-skills-for-integration-and-active-citizenship\/"},"modified":"2024-03-12T10:06:48","modified_gmt":"2024-03-12T09:06:48","slug":"disc","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/disc\/","title":{"rendered":"DISC &#8211; Digital Skills for Integration and Active Citizenship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-objectives\">Objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To enhance the digital skills and competencies of people with a migratory background<\/li><li>To strengthen the role of Higher education institutions and schools as open digital skills learning environment while also promoting intercultural dialogue between local and migrant communities through digital tools<\/li><li>To provide teachers and other educational staff with inclusive teaching methods tools<\/li><li>To generate local, regional and European level networks for spreading good practices of educational integration, ultimately achieving a positive impact on communities and societies by increasing their cohesion and promoting a major integration of migrants in the labour market.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-activities\">Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Identification of transferable best practices for scaling-up<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>and replicability<\/strong>&nbsp;by developing blueprints and guidelines.<\/li><li><strong>Needs analysis and local community building<\/strong>: each partner will map and analyse local community actors and stakeholders and carry out workshops in order to co-create collaborative local partnerships<\/li><li><strong>Transferring best practices to the local context<\/strong>: guidelines and best practices are adapted to the local context in order to achieve a smoother and more sustainable uptake by local stakeholders.<\/li><li><strong>Piloting activities<\/strong>: best practices are pilot-tested with local institution by each partner reaching 40 participants per pilot.<\/li><li><strong>Pilot Evaluation<\/strong><\/li><li>Best practices and other project\u2019s results dissemination.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-results\">Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Transferable local models for best practices uptake available in English and partner country national languages.
