Despite these efforts, the country's higher education institutions continue to perform unsatisfactorily in terms of educational offerings, curricular content and targeted skills development. The RETEACH project was created to bridge this gap by fostering collaboration between HEIs, European organizations, and Mongolian institutions, with the goal of disseminating and consolidating digital and green skills through a long-term ripple effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Capacity building of national and institutional administrators, educators and researchers on teacher training programmes, in line with the national goals of general education, the European Green Deal and digital development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of the \u2018Teacher Education Concept for 2027-2032 (TEC)\u2019, which promotes the transition from traditional to future-oriented, green and digital education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of benchmarks for initial teacher education at different levels and review of selected bachelor and master programmes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review of teacher education short programmes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Piloting of revised teacher initial education (bachelor, master and short programmes).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revision of in-service teachers' continuing professional development practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Development of a Teacher Training Kit based on green and digital teaching practices applied in Europe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation and application of the \u2018Teacher Education Concept for 2027-2032 (TEC)\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation and application of the \u2018Benchmark for Teacher Education in Mongolia (BTEM)\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revision of 11 degree programmes and two Teacher Education Short Program (TESPs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improvement of educational practices for continuing teacher education.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Training kit on teacher education policies and practices in Europe in line with the Green Deal and the Digital Agenda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018Teacher Education Concept for 2027-2032 (TEC) to promote the transition from traditional teaching\/learning curricula and methods to future-oriented, environmental and digital teacher education curricula and methods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018Benchmark for Teacher Education in Mongolia\u2019 (BTEM), covering undergraduate, postgraduate and short programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>38 teachers trained.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coverage of all educational levels with the development of TEC, including programmes for distance learning and inclusion of green skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11 revised programmes based on BTEM, including 6 undergraduate and 5 postgraduates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 newly developed teacher training programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2
