{"id":99568,"date":"2021-11-08T17:11:56","date_gmt":"2021-11-08T15:11:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?p=99568"},"modified":"2021-11-08T17:12:21","modified_gmt":"2021-11-08T15:12:21","slug":"tour2include-elearning-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/news\/tour2include-elearning-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"The e-Learning platform is finally online: upskilling opportunities for migrants\u2019 employability"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After two intense years of needs\u2019 research, planning, designing, implementation and development, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/tour2include\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Tour2Include<\/a><\/strong> project is coming to an end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a last step, an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/elearning.tour2include.eu\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">e-learning platform<\/a><\/strong> for migrants and other users who want to enhance their <strong>skills related to the tourism sector<\/strong>, has been published. The training content is <strong>free<\/strong> and can be used by professionals and trainers, NGOs and other formal and non-formal training providers who wish to enrich their educational offers with a new and innovative curriculum developed based on tourism employers\u2019 and migrants\u2019 training needs. The platform can further be accessed by the users themselves, who can work on the training in a self-paced manner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The platform contents include theoretical material, videos and interactive material as well as self-reflection exercises. At the end of each module, users can take a quiz, which, when completed successfully, allows for the obtaining of a certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training material focuses on the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Module 1 \u2013 General soft skills<\/li><li>Module 2 \u2013 Intercultural skills<\/li><li>Module 3 \u2013 Communication skills<\/li><li>Module 4 \u2013 Tourism-related professional skills<\/li><li>Module 5 \u2013 Digital skills<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, the platform offers comprehensive information on the cultural context of Greece, Italy and Germany, collected in the three Country Profiles.
