How to measure the social impact of CSOs activities?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The need to measure the social value generated by CSOs\u2019 activities has become ever more present, both to enhance the transparency of their operations and to efficiently re-address future actions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>SIM4CSOs<\/a><\/strong> project aims to design a common methodology for social impact measurement of CSOs\u2019 activities, fostering the creation of synergies and greater cooperation among key stakeholders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Project partners have finalised the first resource, which will be soon available on the project website: Comprehensive guide<\/strong> on social impact measurement. The guide builds on a review of existing ways of measuring social impact in partners\u2019 countries, including examples of good practices and specific problems or challenges faced. Moreover, a second part of the guide offers a training needs analysis (TNA) in order to ensure tailored training solutions. Both questionnaires and focus groups were organised in each partner country, involving different stakeholders, e.g. CSOs\u2019 representatives, funders, policymakers. Building on these premises, partners are creating a methodological manual<\/strong> that will provide a set of key knowledge, skills and competences to support civil society representatives to better deliver their work and measure its impact, through a step by step methodology. To this aim, the partnership will meet in Palermo in order to exchange their expertise to finalise the Manual. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In the following months, CESIE will also organise an Info Day<\/strong> in order to promote the co-created methodological manual and offer an overview of suggested skills, knowledge and competences for civil society representatives to boost the effectiveness of their work and social impact measurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and discover best practices with a diversified audience, including decision-makers, local authorities, universities, youth organisations, forums and networks, training providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Would you like to take part to the event?
