This European report aims at establishing the state of the art of sustainability measures in each of the 5 universities of the consortium - University of Montpellier, Trinity, University of Barcelona, E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University and Utrecht University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to collect the necessary data among the general population of the students and staff members dealing specifically with SD-related topics, 2 studies were conducted: - an institutional survey completed by institutional professionals consisting of 215 questions covering 10 topics related to incorporating sustainable development into universities structure and operations (general questions, energy, waste, water, procurement, biodiversity, food and catering, education, communication and SD-system, mobility); and - a survey targeted at \u201dcampus users\u201d, i.e. students, academic and non-academic staff, consisting of 34 questions that examined individual attitudes and habits. It also addressed environmental awareness and community views on university environmental activities and their effectiveness. The results of the European report have been subsequently used to identify priority areas for action in the field of sustainability in each university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
