On the 27th January and 3rd<\/sup> February, the second BASE Transnational Cooperation Meeting<\/strong> was held online: two days of exchange, sharing and debate among partners, professionals and cultural advisors with the aim to strength the network and develop strategies to support migrant women victims of GBV.
The first day of meeting involved a self-reflection and debate on the two training events<\/strong> each partner held within the project: the cultural advisors training event and the capacity building for support services professionals<\/strong>. CESIE, together with the other partners from Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Austria, Portugal, Slovenia and United Kingdom presented the implementation of the training events within their countries, providing feedback and testimonials from the participants, who expressed their commitment towards the BASE network<\/strong> and efforts to improve the sustainability of support services for migrant victims of GBV. The second day of the meeting aimed at sharing and debate on the role of the Cultural advisors<\/strong>, its most delicate challenges and solutions in order to formalize their professional figure and include them in the official system of support for migrant women victims of GBV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BASE Migrant and refugee child-friendly support services in cases of sexual and gender-based violence<\/a> <\/strong>is cofunded by Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014-2020) \u2013 Prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children<\/a>. The project aims at contributing to the development and sustainability of inclusive support services in cases of GBV against girls by Empowering migrant\/refugee women as cultural advisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
