Yet migrant & refugee women face multiple forms of prejudices which place them in a situation of vulnerability, finding hard the access to services, job opportunities and training in host countries.<\/p>\n
The SCORE project aims to facilitate social contact between different ethnic groups and promote sense of belonging and shared identity with local community to increase tolerance and reduce prejudices. Moreover it aims to a constructive dialogue between professionals working in the field of sport and migrant & refugee women, <\/strong>driving a change towards an inclusive system by reinforcing the idea of sport as a tool of social inclusion.<\/p>\n From the online questionnaires, partners found out that the higher challenge of female sports is to \u201cfight the stereotypes in sports\u201d<\/strong>, and the lack of financial support<\/strong> in terms of facilities and equipment. Almost half of the interviewed highlighted education of young girls as the most important action that should be taken<\/strong>, together with the role of sportspersons\u2019 education regarding female participation.<\/p>\n The lack of sport participation is an important challenge that affects negatively an effective integration in the host country<\/strong>.
